Center for Perception and Communication in Children
An NIH Institutional Development Award (IDeA) Center of Biomedical Research Excellence
Boys Town established the Center for Perception and Communication in Children (CPCC) in 2014 with support from a Centers for Biomedical Research Excellence (COBRE) grant. Ultimately our goal is to be the national leader for research on speech, language, hearing, and cognitive development in children with communication disorders.

Aims
- Develop and support a critical mass of NIH-funded research programs focused on issues related to perception and communication in children.
- Strengthen the research infrastructure available to junior faculty and expand the user base of these resources to include established investigators.
- Establish state-of-the-art cores to support research and facilitate development and maintenance of a cohesive center.
